As another year comes to a close, we would like to reflect on all the Gout Support Group of America has accomplished in 2024.
We would like to begin by thanking the more than 16,000 members who are a part of the Gout Support Group of America Facebook Group. This community strives to improve the lives of those across the country living with gout through support, friendship and education.
Most importantly, the members in this group aim to model effective gout management while encouraging others and reminding them that they are not alone.
Events
This year, we have had the privilege of attending conferences and sharing information on Facebook Live events.
In November, we attended the American College of Rheumatology conference in Washington, DC. There, we represented the Gout Support Group of America and connected with rheumatologists to share insights and learn more about emerging gout treatments.
We hosted four Facebook Live sessions where we discussed key topics like gout basics, treatment options, clinical trials and managing gout during the holidays. We love having the opportunity to connect with members and answer their questions during these events.
